ABOUT US

Florencia Glover

As a dedicated mental health professional, I pride myself on my ability to adapt to the needs of each individual I work with. I firmly believe that every person is unique, and that the treatment approach should be tailored to you. Drawing from extensive training in evidence-based therapy (CBT, DBT, Narrative, EMDR, among others), I utilize an integrative approach to provide personalized care.

I make a concerted effort to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. In our sessions, we will work together toward your desired outcomes, fostering personal growth and self-discovery. My commitment is to accompany you on your journey towards greater self-awareness, guiding you as we collaboratively achieve your goals and create a life worth living.

I believe that everyone has the potential to overcome challenges, and I am here to provide the tools and support necessary for that journey.

Florencia offers therapy and formal assessments in English and Spanish, providing virtual and in person sessions to accommodate your needs. She holds a Master of Psychology degree and is registered as a Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

ABOUT US

Kelsey Cox

Kelsey is a compassionate counsellor dedicated to guiding individuals on their journey toward healing and self-discovery.

She believes that our feelings are always giving us information, but sometimes it is hard to listen to them and know what to do with that information. In our fast-paced world, it is easy to ignore those emotions and tensions we feel in our bodies. Ignoring those feelings, however, can hold us back from living the lives we want. Using both a trauma-informed and nature-informed lens, Kelsey can help you connect to and unpack those feelings, to help you live more consciously.

Kelsey works primarily from an emotion-focused and relational approach. She’s really interested in helping clients understand the patterns that shape their lives. Her goal in therapy is to create a space where people feel deeply seen and understood so they can explore difficult emotions safely and start making meaningful changes.

Kelsey is passionate about culturally informed and affirming care.

Kelsey holds a Master of Psychology and is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

Are my services covered by insurance?

Many Insurance companies will reimburse you for our sessions. They typically prefer you to submit receipts either through their online portals or by mail.

ManuLife, Canada Life, and iA Financial Group is a case-by-case basis as their coverage depends on the specific policy.

ICBC has stated that you can submit your receipts to your file handler for consideration of reimbursement. If the treatment is reimbursed, it will be paid directly to the customer (i.e. you).

Alberta Blue Cross policies specify the preference of a psychologist to be covered.

PRICING

Counselling sessions

Free 15 min. counselling

If you’re a new client looking for counselling, I offer a free 15 min consultation via phone.

What’s the purpose?

The purpose of this consultation is getting to know each other. The connection with your counsellor accounts for a 30% of the therapeutic process. Meeting the counsellor, getting a feel for their personality and finding out if you feel comfortable is very important. But don’t worry, there’s no pressure. If you find we’re not the best fit for you, we can help you out with referrals.

Individual sessions

Individual sessions are as per the College of Psychologists of Alberta (click here).

I offer both in person and online sessions. Please inquire about availability.

Drop-in sessions / open phone

You can always reach out if you’re having a hard day or you’re struggling to process difficult events. You can send an email to your counsellor to discuss the issue during the next session or I will try my best to accommodate you for a drop-in session the same day.

WHY BREEZE?

A powerful reason

Breeze counselling psychology comes from the concept of resilience. It reminds me of how the breeze bends the branches of the tress and these come back to their original position transformed. For me it shows how people get back up after facing challenges, transformed.

“It is the ability of the human being to face adversity, overcome it and be transformed by it.”
